Athlete’s foot is a fungus that thrives on warm damp places. The fungus behind this is known as Tinea Pedi’s. We give you some remedies which can help take care of Athlete’s foot.
Remedy #1: Sprinkle a bit of baking soda on your toes before wearing your socks in the morning. It won’t stop the itching but it will soak up the moisture.
Remedy #2: Soak your feet for 10 minutes with water soaked from 4 drops of organic tea tree oil. Once you are done soaking and drying, apple that oil directly to the affected area. Tea tree oil not only destroys the fungus but stops it from spreading as well.
Remedy #3: Boil water with 4 ounces of Oregano leaves. Add enough water to cover your feet. Once cooled, soak your feet in that mixture for up to 2-3 times a day.
Remedy #4: Applying organic Neem oil to clean dry feet with a cotton ball before going out also helps in getting rid of the harmful organism. Neem oil is believed to be a pesticide for harmful organism.
Remedy #5: Take some warm water and add half cup of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar along with 2 table spoons of Himalayan Crystal Salt. Soak your feet in this solution.
Remedy #6: Soak a cotton ball with Raw Virgin Coconut Oil or Sesame oil and apply it to the affected area twice daily. This oil has anti-fungal properties that will help in fighting against the bacteria.
Remedy #7: You can place crushed garlic or slices of garlic between your toes and leave it for the day. You can also feel its effect by consuming garlic daily with your routine diet but it will take a longer time to affect the bacteria.
