Removing a tick is not as easy as it may seem. If you didn’t notice you have one and you feel nausea, pain in your muscles, headache, if you have high temperature you should immediately visit a doctor.
If you did notice you got one, don’t panic, because some of them are not so deadly or contagious, but before making any decision you need to consult with an expert, don’t do it all by yourself.
Some ticks are dangerous because they can transmit some diseases, so that’s why if it bites you need to realize if you are experiencing any symptom we gave you above.
They are active mostly during spring and summer, so if you decide to go to the park or any other place where you can pick one, after you come home you need to examine your entire body just to check if everything is alright.
If you notice it, take tweezers grasp the tick close to your skin and gently pull it out, just make sure you didn’t damage your body. When you do this you need to be very gentle and precise.
Also you have to do it very slow and careful, because if you pull it out very fast, there is a chance its head will get stuck to your skin and then you may get any kind of disease.
Very important thing, do not put alcohol, oil or any fat on that tick. And do not try to burn it, because if tick dies there is chance you may get an infection.
If you think you cannot do this all by yourself visit your doctor as soon as you can.
